Bio

Jeremiah, a young 35-year old composer and lyrics writer developed his taste for music during his childhood in Martinique after watching his dad constantly mount and dismount the mixing desk. He is a young man who wants to change things, to change the world and to contribute new ideas which could bring humanity to evolve with a collective awareness. It is during his university studies in Toulouse, France that he becomes aware of the role that music plays in his life. Alongside his studies, he takes percussion lessons based on the teaching of tempos from Senegal, Guinea and Mali. Surprised by his skills, his instructors don't hesitate to encourage him to exercise his talent and perfect his musical education.

With his bachelor of Science degree in Electro-technology under his arm, he decides to move on to North America with a view to enhancing his knowledge of music. He enrolls at the Montreal Trebas Institut where he obtains a diploma in computerized Sound Design. Ending his academic studies with brio, he now has the tools and skills required to fully live out his passion for music. Through music, he finds the perfect vehicle for transmitting and communicating his spirituality and sensitivity to the world. He decides to brave the musical adventure and starts writing lyrics and composing harmonies reflecting his keen insight regarding the world he lives in.

Skillfully blending several musical styles, his music is decidedly festive, while not losing the spiritual touch, and always seeking togo beyond the limits. Jeremiah's strong, demanding words form the basis of his art. His shaking terms are equaled in the mixed use of his music such as the African beat, Jamaican dub, reggae, hip-hop, soul, jazz and R&B, which are all part of the genre he prefers to work in speaking to us on his favorite topics.

A prolific sound engineer, he plays several instruments, is a keenly sought after stage director, D. J., re-mixer, eclectic musician - Jeremiah dabbles in all areas, for in addition to composing music for his lyrics, he performs his own songs, and is a sound engineer, among others, for Radio France Outremer (RFO Martinique). Jeremiah also produces jingles for television and radio ads, designs sound tracks for short flims, cartoons... and his great skills brought him to work oved the years as a sound engineer for several concepts either in Quebec or Martinique, Toronto, Saint Lucia or Jamaica. As comfortable in his role as producer as that of musician, he realizes that his role as producer impacts his development as a musician. His entourage includes innovative artists from all horizons who were able to enhance his talents as a musician, arranger and producer.

Initiative, creativity, organization, zealousness and a team spirit are qualities which make of Jeremiah a major artist, who, while making music through living out his passion, also reveals his firm determination for accomplishing any project.
